MCP labels not showing on Retina display

Hi Hardy (et al)

I installed PSX this morning, and first of all, congratulations Hardy, this is an incredibly impressive piece of work, hats off! Beautiful graphics, butter smooth animation, really takes me back to the real thing!

There does however appear to be one snag in my install: The MCP panel is missing the labelling, looks as if one graphics layer is missing? See here for a screenshot: http://www.inside.net/mcp_nolabels.jpg

Any hints on what might be the issue here?

Cheers

On what kind of machine, OS, etc. did you install PSX?

Hi Balt,

looks like you are using a Retina resolution. If so, you shouldn't do this.

Hi Hardy,

this occurs in native resolution (i.e. 1920x1280 on an external monitor, as well as when not using an external monitor and running in 2880x1800 resolution without retina scaling).

Besides, wouldn't the other panels (which are showing fine) not suffer from the same problem?

Ah! I had to switch the main display into native resolution twice! Now all works as expected, excellent!

So, for posteriority's sake: When working with an external monitor on an OS X retina macbook pro, you have to switch the main display resolution into native resolution *twice* as it doesn't do it correctly the first time (and I didn't notice).
