Anyone out there working on PSX support for the CPFlight B747 MCP?

Peter Lang

Paolo from CP flight told me, that he is working on that and he will release the new driver after August, 19.

Hope this helps.
Peter

Yes, I did see a string from CPF Paolo on the PSX networking forum and thought that might be the case.  Thanks for confirming it Peter.

Hi Frans,

Can you confirm that the MCP on the real 747 does not feature an A/T solenoid switch (autodisconnect on disarm on the throttle)?

I understand the 737-800 features the magnetic switch, but the A/T even on PSX does not disarm when you click on the A/T disconnect on the throttle.

I understand the CP Flight 747 MCP does not have a solenoid switch like the 737 MCP-PRO version.

Thank you,

Ben

Hi Ben,

I have the 747 aerosoft MCP from Australia whitch is working great with AdaptPSX and I have the 737MCP pro by CPFlight whitch is working fine with te new driver by Paolo, but I use that one in my 737 cockpit. I just tested the driver.
Your Q on the Solenoid....I do not know but I'm sure there are plenty of pro's on this board who know the answer. btw are you still using Prosim737?

No solenoid on A/T switch. Arm or disarm, but after throttle button disconnect it does not flip to disarm. Hit TO/GA and up she comes again.

OmniAtlas

Thank you for clearing that up.

Is there any reason why Boeing did not include a magnetic A/T switch?

Regards.

Because they did not want it to disARM when disengaged? So you have direct access to TO/GA on the throttles?

Flight deck philosophies on different airframes do differ, even within the same company.

Hi Frans, no, I am not using Prosim737, I sold all my 737 equipment  over a year ago.
