I have ordered it at Aerosoft, too.

Then I was a little bit confused, as I got an email from the visa provider, telling me about a payment of € 347,-- via my visa card.

I contacted Aerosoft and they told me that the pre-order has been stored but will be booked only when it will be delivered.
So the email from the visa Provider was totally confusing.

Now I will look at my account to verify that no money has been transferred (just to be sure).

Best regards,
Christian

I had the similar problem. I choose payment by bank transfer and also got an invoice immediately. I was told by Aerosoft that I can pay now and I will get it shipped upon release or I pay after release and get it shipped afterwards. Guess which option I choose...Im not a bank for Aerosoft.

Kind of confusing I must say...

RC Sims and Transair used to be PS1 retailers in the old days. -- I've asked them a couple of times in the past weeks, but got no positive reply, unfortunately. Maybe they get PSX through other channels (e.g. Aerosoft?), or they're not interested at all. I don't know.

You may want to ask Transair etc. directly, to check whether they can help you.

I contacted RC Simulations a few weeks ago and then again a week later and on both occasions they said they'd get back to me about buying PSX from them but I've heard no more. When I saw no UK retailer on Hardy's list of distributors, I decided to bite the bullet and pay the additional cost of postage (about £25) to the UK from the Netherlands, and pre-ordered from Aviation Megastore. Not ideal but the temptation of getting my hands on PSX was too great. :)

Why £25?

As far as I understand it, UPS charges €12.39 to €15.00 to the UK, depending on your VAT system.

That would be circa £10. No?

UK = Region "S 4"

Edit: Indeed €32.35. Looks like €15.00 is UPS shipping, and €17.35 is handling. Must be a very big box :-)

I was surprised by the cost of UPS shipping at Aviation Megastore for something approximating the size of a DVD box but such discrepancies often exist between retailers.

I've told myself that by the time PSX springs to life on my screen, I will have completely forgotten the cost of PSX and delivery charges. It's entirely possible that I may forget to tell my wife, too, though she may notice a lack of attention paid to her once PSX arrives. I will blame you Hardy for any marital problems.

I send PSX to you guys. And you guys send me all your wives. Is that a deal?

Sounds fair to me. I may struggle to find a box big enough. But I'm willing to pay the additional postage. A No Return, No Exchange policy applies.

Can I send the children too?

My girlfriend declined Hardy's offer even after I politely explained how nice Germany is

Aviation Megastore charges 40€ for shipping and handling to Denmark. - A bit on the high side but I really don't care - they also need butter on their bread.  :)

The next 30 days or so will be the longest wait ever....

It's like being a child who has a birthday on Christmas Day. The anticipation of waiting for that big present is just too much. Time does indeed pass slowly.  :(

I asked Henk Timmers of Aviation Megastore re handling fees to the UK. He's working on a solution to lower the rate. The value was automatically generated and wasn't intentional.

Transair appeared today. Negotiation in progress ...

Thanks, Hardy. I'll update here when/if I'm informed of a change in the handling fees and if I receive a refund.

Thanks, GodAtum. I don't know whether I'll get a full refund now from Aviation Megastore. I kind of feel obliged to now continue with the purchase.

Caveat emptor!

On the 15th. July I e-mailed RC Sims They replied "I will let you no, as we have been looking at this" As I purchased PS1.* from them an aeon ago.
I Asked them "to Please Don't delay"
Kind regards
Russell
p.s. is the "no" a Freudian slip?
