Looking for 1.2 patches and used 1.3 to buy

Hello,

I was hoping someone in this forum could help me out.  I just aquired an excellent copy of 1.2 with the spiral manual and an additional guide by Robert Randazzo off of eBay.

What I cannot get is the 1.2 patches and possibly the 1.2 version tutorial.  Aerowinx has corresponded with me via email and suggested I go here because they don't have the 1.2 patches or tutorials anymore.

I was also wondering if anyone may want to part with their 1.3 version.  I would specifically want the spiral bound manual in the package, but at (hopefully) a reasonable negotiated price.

Thank you in advance for any kind help you may be able to provide.

Hello Jim.

In my mail database of the last 2 years I couldn't find a correspondence with the keyword "jfeeds". Did you mail me several years ago – or did you mail somebody else perhaps – or did I use the wrong search word?

As for the patches, you may try to send a message to Jeroen Hoppenbrowers: http://aerowinx.com/forum/profile.php?id=3

Just to clear up: Jeroen is NOT Aerowinx! I know that the border line sometimes becomes vague, but I do not in any way formally represent Aerowinx.

jfeeds

I apologize for not using the correct terminology.

It was Jeroen who was corresponding with me and the email was my work email.  I registered with this forum from my home email but my company blocks the usage of home emails at work.

When I sent the original correspondance to the Aerowinx support box, it was on my lunch break so I used the work email.

I will be happy to provide that in a private message or email, but I don't want it broadcasted.

What I will do now is to reply to the most recent email (which was yesterday) and copy my home email that I used to register here.

Once again, I am sorry about the confusion and didn't mean to upset anyone.

Hey guys,

am I correct - you are talking of two handbooks? Jim,
I dont get it, you have a handbook of 1.2 and you are
looking for 1.3?
What would be a "reasonable" price for one? Cause I
need one too...

Olli :-)

jfeeds

Yes, I am looking for a 1.3 handbook (and the software to go with it).  It matches the latest and greatest version of PS1 and the tutorials and support documentation are still readily available.

It seems 1.2 is very difficult to find updates and tutorials for...as the lack of response shows.

Just to clear things up, frumpy ..
PS1.2 came with a handbook, and then PS1.3 came with a
new updated handbook.

David,

I did email you back yesterday.  I just wanted to let you know in the post to make sure you did in fact receive my email.

Thanks,

Jim

Really?  :o

Greetings, Holger,

I must admit I'm not sure what you mean.

frumpy seemed to be surprised that there were 2 manuals, hence my post.

And I certainly received a manual with both PS1.2 and the PS1.3 update.

If I've missed your point entirely ... sorry !!

Cheers,
Shiv

Hi Shiv,

I was only wondering about the PS1.2 manual.
As far as I remember, PS1.0 came with a manual, and P1.3 Update Pack came with a new 1.3 manual.
But I have never seen a PS1.2 manual.

Hi Holger,
I started only with PS1.2, and then got the upgrade pack to PS1.3.
There certainly was a manual with both packages.

But now I'm wondering ...  am I mistaken about the version numbers ?
The earlier one had files stamped with the date 11/24/1997,
and the later with 11/19/1999.

Am I mistaken about the version numbers ?
Anyone ??

Cheers, Shiv

My first PS1 box says "1.2" all over the place.

Hardy Heinlin

As far as I recall ...

PS1.0 - summer 1997 on floppy disks
PS1.1 - autumn 1997 on the Internet (update with new sound system)
PS1.2 - winter 1997 on CD

PS1.3 - spring 2000 on CD

...

Good night,

Yes, but was there a manual with PS1.2 ?  (Frustratingly enough, I can't find mine !)

Jeroen Hoppenbrouwers

Sure. Spiral bound, "Version 1.2" on title page. Also in the box: blue CD, and some sample approach charts.

Richard McDonald Woods

I still value my 1.2 manuals, etc. just as Jeroen describes.

Thanks Hoppie and Richard.

Holger, maybe you went directly from PS1.0 to PS1.3 ?
