Please note that this little brown box with that keyboard and display is not an FMC, it's called a CDU or MCDU.

The FMC is a different box and is installed outside the cockpit.

Yes Hardy

 You are correct, what I am discovering with the parts I have to help people with their builds that often things get called by the wrong name by way of example what you and I know to be the FMC (located in the AEE rack)   is the CDU with Boeing and the MCDU with Airbus the FMC is the the CDU/MCDU in a business jet..(Blame Cessna),  So what I do now is ask people are you talking about the the thing that looks like a brown calculator and there is three of them (although there is actually four). For those that want to know the fourth is located usually to the right hand side of the ladder.
