KLM runs on used cooking oil

I'm just curious to understand. In order for KLM to use this Bio Fuel to what extend does that require testing and recertification of the various, systems, manuals.

It has different properties from regular kerosene, so I guess anything to do with the fuel would have to be re-checked, from tanks, fuel systems, engines, manuals, performance data etc.

I've been looking to find some technical background but haven't found any. Lots of publicity of them flying on cooking oil though, but no technical content.
