VDMSound in Windows XP under Windows 7.

Hi everyone.

I have been running PS1.3 with IPC/WinPS1 and MCDU in Windows XP mode under Windows 7 for a while without major issues.

I now would like to get full TCAS and ATC sound (and MCDU keyboard functionality.) I have a few questions for the computer literate.

1- Can I install VDMSound in XP mode under Windows 7? Will it work as it did in the "real" Windows XP?

2- If I install a fresh copy of PS1.3 in another directory (like C:\\PS\\PS13) will VDMSound keep my current PS copy untouched (if I point VDMSound to this new directory?)

3- Will installing VDMSound ruin the environment for running PS via IPC/WinPS1?

4- If I keep a copy of my current "AUTOEXEC.NT" and "CONFIG.NT" (before I install VDMSound), will I be able to place them back into the "%SystemRoot%" folder whenever I want to run my IPC/WinPS1 copy of PS1.3? I though that by switching the "AUTOEXEC.NT" and "CONFIG.NT" files between the non-VDMSound ones and the VDMSound ones before I launch either WinPS1 or VDMSound PS1, I could run both versions in the same XP Windows 7 environment without harming each other.

I hope you understand my messy logic/questions. Basically, what I would like to do is be able to run either WinPS1 or VDMSound PS1 in the same environment as I please without major problems.
