This may sound a bit silly, but here goes:
I can connect one monitor to my laptop using one cable from one port.

What if I wanted to connect an additional monitor? Is there a type of video cable adaptor for this?

Two options.

Expensive: get one of the "xxxHeadToGo" boxes. They have one monitor connection for the computer, and two or three on the other side. They combine multiple monitors into one super-wide monitor and your computer thinks it has just one monitor, but very wide.

Cheap: there are USB-to-VGA/DVI convertors. They create a new monitor connection out of any USB. I initially had doubts about performance but it works perfectly fine at work. Note, I don't do flight sims at work (yet), it is not super high frame rates, but I notice nothing special about that monitor. And I have three (USB, VGA, built-in laptop).

Hi thanks for the reply, I am thinking to go for the expensive option, but first, I need to buy 2 more monitors...

I want to try and see how I can manage with the display of the laptop and the one 19 inch monitor that I have.
