Very very exciting Hardy. Looking forward to booting it up and having a play with all the new (and old!) features you've brought to this simulator! It also looks like this aircraft has been brought through more hell than it would even on test flights (reverser deployed in flight for example).

Yeh, I think Sarah has a great voice.
Reverser? You noticed that the thrust limit indications are blank? :-)

This is art in motion. You could frame any one of these screenshots. Just beautiful.

In the USA, the Smithsonian Museum, including the Air & Space division, has on display many historically significant aircraft, space craft, etc. I would love to see PSX given a special place in this museum and/or other museums someday. I wonder if this is technically possible for the Smithsonian? _______________ Best wishes,
Phil Bunch

I am going to level with you; I am working a pretty heavy man crush right now.
Amazing pictures and excellent news on the Beta milestone.
Quick point, the FMC track on the ND on the fourth picture from the top has a magenta curved line straying away on the turn. Is that an issue stemming from the procedure coding?
Thank you Hardy!

Sorry if I am straying off topic here and I know it is MUCH too late to be asking but figured I'd plant the idea... Hardy, have you ever thought about allowing a shared cockpit experience? I know some payware aircraft on FSX allow it and it works quite well (particularly the Leonardo SH MADDOG). I understand PSX is geared more towards professional level simulation but since there are so many simulator fans (such as myself) using your product, with such complex simulation of the 747, it would be excellent if we could share the experience with fellow dedicated simmers. (Would also help better pass the time during cruise). Thoughts?

Thank you, guys!
I need to explain a few things ...
- The reversers are not in use. The thrust limit indications are missing because the FMCs have failed. Remember, autothrottle and thrust limit management is the FMC's job. Also, that's why the NDs and CDUs are in standby nav mode. There are no map symbols, no ETAs (just TTGs), no speed/altitude predictions, no LNAV/VNAV etc.
- That "claw" on that YSSY SID is not a coding error. That's a fly-over waypoint with an unspecified interception course back to the leg. In that example it's a SID transition waypoint. Such claws occur also on the real EFIS.
- Shared cockpit? You mean multiple users at different locations share the same cockpit, same flight and same cockpit actions via network/Internet? That is already possible with PSX. PSX is specialized for all kinds of network interactivities.
Cheers,

Amazing Screenshots! I've been following this project since the beggining.
May I ask if you're using NaviGraph, Aerosoft, or other NavData provider? I'm happy to see SBGL on your database! My Hometown airport.

Hardy; In saying 'last Alpha' is it worth putting into context what that means? (I like the pink slip!!!)

Hardy Heinlin wrote What does 'last Alpha' mean, John? :-)
Well to me it means 'Feature complete' - ie all bits are in! You then move to Beta - which is testing You then move to RC (Release Candidate - ie the 'final' package) You then go Gold!

Voice-ATC is not implemented yet. That's the last missing feature and will come with the next version. The next version will be the first Beta.
Alpha 67 is the last Alpha, it's an Alpha because it hasn't got all features.

Regarding the claw issue, you just blew my mind (yet again) with the level of detail and realism this beauty is going have.
