Hi everybody.

Before starting to build the overhead panel (opencockpit/sioc/psxseecon), I started with one mastercard and few buttons, rotary encoder, leds, and so on. in order to write myu complete sioc program.

all I wanted to do was OK except the fire engine/apu swiches.

I think my use of the Qh virtual switch is the problem..

Is someone can explain me or put his sioc code of fire switches ?

thanks

Hi,
I have not build these Fire Switches (yet), but basically it goes like this:
Lets take Engine 1.

You have these SIOC (control) variables, see document "SIOC variable by Name":

FireEng1M15 , Qh275, 3944, A ,
FireEng1M22 , Qh275, 3943, A ,
FireEng1Override , Qh275, 3942, A ,
FireEng1P15 , Qh275, 3945, A ,
FireEng1P22 , Qh275, 3946, A ,
FireEng1Pulled , Qh275, 3941, A ,

and two "information (state) "variables:
FireEng1 , Qh275, 3275, , b 11 12 13 14 15(T)
FireEng1Virtual , Qh275, 4706, , Qh value (Virtual Switch position)

3275 you need for driving the leds in the Switch, and 4706 always shows the position the Fire engine Switch in the panel is in (the virtual switch).

Control variables 3941 up till 3946, each On/Off type (A); you should use to set the Fire switch in the different positions.

However, if in the panel the Override comes up, you should read that from var 4706 in order to synchronise with PSX, so also set 3942 to the value in the panel.

Hope this helps,

Regards,
Nico Kaan

thanks for the explanation of all these variables. I will get a try with these informations.

BTW, your program is incredible... So easy to use.. and very well documented.
Thanks a lot for your work.
