I am taxiing along at KIAD but my plane keeps crashing for no reason. The plane's wheels are slightly below the ground.

Chris,

If you do not find a solution in the relation P3D/VisualPSX/PSX and the crashing is caused by the aircraft wheels digging to deep into the ground.., you can always edit the contact points where the FSX/P3D aircraft wheels touch the ground.

Much help on Google e.g. with a search like: . . . editing contact points fsx aircraft

Example/tutorial on YouTube:

Thanks, but this only occurd when connected to visualPSX. Without, the plane appears normal.

Also on takeoff, the gear does not come up in the visual model and p3d crashes because of overspeed.

I've switched off crash detection in P3D. I don't care about it at all when using P3D as a scenery generator for PSX, because I'm only using it for generating a forward view. If I crash, PSX will let me know :P

Maybe It's not what your looking for, but just in case...

i tried starting it in the order mentioned with the latest build 5498. But the visuals in p3d do not match PSX (gear and lights). the taxi light turns on the landing lights. The flap, speedbkes visuals work.

I am using the 747 model from here http://www.rikoooo.com/en/downloads/viewdownload/55/716
