Hi Robert,

Before the app crashes, I didn't see anything at all. Just a white screen.

I will download the new beta and test it right now :)

Thanks a lot for your efforts, they are greatly appreciated !

Hi Robert,

Just installed the latest beta :

It's better, now I can see the CDU :)

But I can't enter the settings...

When I press on the menu button on the bottom left of the Note 8 and press settings, nothing happens :(

So it's hard to say if the app is crashed or not, could be working, without the settings it's hard to say.

Did you read the manual?
To enter settings you have to press the screw at the top right of the cdu.

All my apologies !

I assumed (wrongly) that the menu button would work...

Now it's working great, and it was quite easy to find the proper font size and margins.

Thank you soooooo much for this wonderful software !

OK, great to hear. I will check how to use the menu button if available. I don't think it is there in all versions and models. Not sure.
By the way, I found out that the lights are not working in the latest beta, will try to fix that today.

Enjoy the software.

Robert,

Working perfectly fine here on a Galaxy TabPro 8.4", thanks so very much for the great job done.

Btw, would it help if every user post or send his/her settings once text and lights positions are configured for his/her typical device (for a quick setting for most common models) ?

Regards

That is a good suggestion Xavier although I don't know if Hardy is happy if we (mis)use the PSX forum for that.

I will see if I can add this to my in progress website. I am using some free tool for that and I don't know if this is supported (or maybe I have to upgrade to a payed version).

Version 0.3a is available. Functionality of the lights fixed.

For those doing upgrades, if you just reinstall (and DONT delete the app) you will keep all your settings and you don't need to reconfigure. I will add this to the manual too.

OK, I started a forum on my site. We can use that to post configurations for different android devices.

Robert,

I was watching this weekend the SimFest flight from CapeTown to London.
Was connected online via their WebCam -and- via PSX/VisualPSX.

Used my Android based Samsung Pad, to look at the Center CDU
to view Gary's BACARS with the APP you wrote for it:

http://androidcdu.weebly.com/downloads.html

I saw a "pressed down" line (scratchpad) in comparison to the normal monitor. See pictures.

Could this be repaired ?

Thanks in advance,

What is the possibility that it is actually BACARS that wrongly addresses the scratch pad line one too low, and PSX corrects this while PSX Remote just displays it?

The whole screen is zoomed in too much.

Line 1 is a bit too high.

Line 2 is a bit too low.

Line 3 is too low.

Line 4 is even lower.

Line 5 is almost at LSK 6 ...

I am sure this has to do with the displaying in my code. I will get you updated when I am back from holiday and found some time working on it.
