I am ready to purchased the NG FMC SW but am confused on the SW update needed.

When I boot up via the start jar it says I am running v 10.128, which looks to be the most current update. The NG FMC update requires v 10.93.

Will the NG FMC SW work with my current version, if not where do I get 10.93 as i dent see it anywhere.

Thank You - CHA

The NG upgrade requires PSX 10.93 or higher.

Every PSX update since version 10.93 contains the NG software.

You should always use the latest PSX version (currently 10.128).

Thanks for the quick reply but not understanding the answer.

I have done all the upgrades via the upgrade downloads on your site which is updated October 2020 and is 10.128.

The NG FMC requires 10.93. Well 10.93 is a higher number than 10.128 so i am very confused.

I am asking  this as the download is $100+ and I want it to work.

Thank you

10.93 is from dec 2019 you have the higher and latest update so your good to fly.

Will

CHA, the update sequence goes like this:

OLDER
.
.
.
10.97
10.98
10.99
10.100
10.101
10.102
.
.
.
NEWER

So with 10.128, you have the newest version.

Sorry for the confusion, CHA. The decimal in the version code has no mathematical meaning. As Will illustrated, ".99" is lower than ".100".

Fortunately, this misunderstanding may only re-appear in the distant future when version 10.1000 comes out after 10.999.

Thank you for clarification - CHA

It's pretty much this system, though PSX does not use patch versions.

I purchased the NG software license that unlocks it and have it up and running.

- Easy install of the license - download and add to folder!

- Reminder for those that don't read instructions is once installed you need to go to instructor pages and check a few boxes.  :)

- Any comments from others on what they like best about NG FMC would be appreciated.
