Unfortunately they don't specify...but my guess is plastish someway...they charge an arm and a leg (228$) for just the grip of the F/A-18 to mount on the stick of the Warthog...

This new Airbus stick, does indeed looks very interesting. But I believe that this is updated Thrustmaster - T.16000M stick. Even the throttle looks the same. Expect more plastic and less sturdiness. There are some Youtube "first reaction" videos, that are mainly positive.

I do own Warthog HOTAS and I am very happy with that system. Given the fact that I am looking for another joystick for my new laptop, I am considering this stick. I see it as a basic necessity (taking less space) and I rather save more funds for my B744 cockpit.

For me the throttle is interesting... since in the description they mention the possibility to add a second device...
I also have the Warthog and I like it... but the price of the F/A-18 grip (not the whole stick) is absurd....
