Hardy,
That's neat!  I will have to see if I can better figure out the controls.  Have you ever tried NASSP and the Orbiter platform, it's the moon lander computer simulator and I think the Orbiter software can do more too.  It's dated compared to what you shared but it is very very technically accurate (from what I've researched on it).  Just curious and I hope all is well!

I once wrote a Squawkbox for Orbiter... to have live launches from KSC in Florida. VATSIM even allowed it, if I cut off transmissions at 100,000 ft.   :-)

I think there were three launches and then Challenger blew up and the interest waned.

I used Orbiter for a while - but it took so long to get anywhere!

In the nineties I spent a lot of time with Shuttle

It was also a kind of instrument trainer and had the same looks and feel as PS 1.0 and -you can belief me or not- but that was the reason for me to buy PS 1.0 in 1997 ;-)

I remeber that one ton, it came with a Poster of the Cockpit and you could watch your orbiter being transported to the launchpad in realtime... I was so fascinated by it by then, i bought it just after i visited florida with my parents as a young teenager.
Where's that time gone...

Yes, forgotten that one. If I am right it also had a fairly big manual with a lot of tutorials.

And the 747 is very well simulated in the sim :-) I saw the piggy back 747 with shuttle flying over my house in 1983 during its European tour

Very interesting! Does the actual Dragon 2 have joysticks or is it touchscreen like in this sim (it says it's the actual control interface)?

I also wonder how realistic this sim actually is. I got it right on first try and felt it was relatively easy. :P
