When I was playing IL-2 Battle of Stalingrad they did advise not to use full screen mode around after 1903 was released, and I make sure every time Win10 updates it doesn't force the gamming screen mode to On again, but apparently the system settings under Settings / Game Mode ( On / Off ) isn't sufficient by itself to optimize fullscreen mode for some applications.

I recall that some yime ago someone complained full screen mode fps in PSX had dropped, when set to 72/1, but I'm not sure it's related to this or if further updates solved it ( ? )
