Missing FAN-vibration indication on Engine Nr. 2

Hi Hardy 

On different LongHoulSessions (with GE,PW ad RR Enginemodels),I checked some Engine parameters inflight.

The SECONDARY ENGINE DISPLAY  never shows me the FAN-vibration indication on ENGINE Nr. 2 !
I get FAN,LPT,N2,N3(on RR) and BB highest vibrationlevels on Engine 1, 3 & 4 !

Are there any technical or Airlinespecific reasons ,why there is no FAN Vib.ind. on ENG.Nr 2 ?

Hi Gernot,

each engine has its individual "character", assigned at random. Coincidentally, the fan construction in engine #2 is the best component of all components; therefore the highest normal vibrations will always occur in the other components.

When you activate the malfunction "Foreign object damage" on engine #2 you will get fan vibrations on this engine as well.

"Foreign object damage"  Malfunction now activated....FAN-Vibrations on Engine#2 are there...!! SUPERB !
