Is this the same strategy as implemented in Frankfurt EDDF already?
The 2 parallel runway are too close for parallel approaches.
To reduce the wake vortex impact between 2 approching aircraft runways with an offset threshold were installed which allow one of two approching a/c to fly higher than the other.

Now they seem to plan this for a single runway, if I understand correctly.

Yes it's about one single runway.
To me it looks like another critical point to manage (airplane in the secondary G/S will have shorter LDA, possibility of error tuning on the correct G/S, need to mantain accurate approach speeds, bigger G/S angle path etc...)..but probably this is the future.
