VNAV Descent Page Title

Hardy,

In PSX (10.90 - thank you, by the way), if you are on ACT ECON CRZ, select VNAV descent page and then open the MCP speed window, the (inactive) VNAV descent page title changes from ECON DES to MCP SPD DES.

On the 767 (PIP and Pegasus), speed intervening while VNAV cruise is active has no effect on the VNAV descent page title (it remains ECON DES).

This is probably a 767 to 747 difference, but perhaps 747 guys could shed some light.

PS: I forgot to test what happens to VNAV crusie page title if I speed intervene while VNAV climb is active, although I suspect VNAV crusie page title won't change.

a little late,  but:

NGFMC in ACT ECON CRZ
opening the MCP speed window has no affect on the VNAV DESC page title

Similarly in ACT ECON CLM
opening the MCP speed window changes title to ACT MCP SPD CLM
but no affect on other VNAV page titles

Ah, I misread the first post. I thought the post suggested that the "MCP" title should never appear.

I see the "MCP" title should appear but only on the page of the active flight phase, not on all three VNAV pages at the same time.
