Hello,

so all is working on computer A, but on computer B just the USB system fails?

What PSX version are you using?

Can you connect both PSX instances via the PSX network (despite the USB problem)? (If so, I know that both instances are using the same PSX version.)

Did you update your PSX in the past 5 years? There was an update for the Aerowinx/Interfaces folder (USB stuff). Do you have several copies of that, and are you sure you copied the correct one to computer B?

yes I did
I copied A to B yesterday , so B has the same folders\files  than A
( on A and B : \ interfaces and the old one \interfaces001)

Hi altus_apinus,

Have you checked that the USB-drivers for the new PC (PC B) are installed and up to date?

Most new computers are equipped with newer USB ports (USB 3.0 usually) and have only a few (or none) USB 2.0 ports left. Although technically USB 3.0 should be backwards compatible, the reality is often different.

At work, everytime I buy a new computer for my laboratory, it is often a nightmare to plug older devices and instruments into the newer USB 3.0 ports. Therefore, I'd recommend to check if your new computer has at least 1 or 2 older USB 2.0 ports and try to use them.

Best regards,
Dirk

So the PSX installation on computer B seems correct. I agree with Dirk; there might be a problem with the Windows USB drivers.

Hi Dirk, Hardy

on B it's connected to a USB 2.0 Port , and they are well recognized  on w 10   (and they work fine for example in IL-2)

Hi All

I have read the post " New PC - USB Controls Disconnected"

I disconnected my mouse : nothing
I disconnected my corsair Keyboard : and WTF it's work but i've to launch psx without the keybord and plug it after

So it's a solution  but not an optimised one

Someone as an idea to correct this problem ?

Jeroen Hoppenbrouwers

Most likely the Corsair keyboard has a few function keys that are in the way of things. You could try to get an el cheapo simple keyboard for a few currency units and see what that does.

PS. Looks like we down here are out the real Dorian danger zone for now. Good luck to those who are less fortunate... especially the poor souls on the Northern Bahamas.

Hi, just for the record I got hit by this issue tonight as well.
The only workaround was to physically disconnect the Wireless USB Receiver that came with my new Corsair mouse, then launch PSX and reconnect the USB Receiver after PSX loaded. Far from a desirable solution but... it works.

This is with 10.87.

Happens to me frequently whenever I plug in my ELITE TQ and GNS 530 modules, or the EdTracker Pro to play War Thunder...

My controller definitions go completely wonky and I have only 2 choices - to redefine them all or to unplug the additional controllers that weren't plugged in when I first configured PSX and restart ( sometimes restarting the PC is required ).
