I am using PSX with Xplane 11 via XView

If I use the PSX plane (from XPlane10) and the latest available XView (03/03/2016) all works fine with reasonable fps in both PSX and XPlane.

But if I try to use the XPlane11 Default 747-400 with XView nothing works - plane hovers above the runway, no controls work, wings are bent up, etc - I sort of understand this because MikeinDevon said he would need to do a lot of work on the plane for XView to work.

But this confuses me because others on this forum have reported that they are successfully using the default XPlane 11 747-400.

The reason for wanting to use the XPlane 11 747 is for future compatibility (maybe!) and there is a greater selection of liveries.

So I would be grateful if anyone could tell me how they have managed to do this. I must be missing something.

Thanks.

Hello,

well the Plane works, as in:
"You can fly, the lights work and if you move you viewpoint you have a 3D-Cockpit; if you want that below your PSX-Instruments"

Other than that i have the same issues with the model as you do.

I just hope someone Updates XView at some point.  :D
