Can´t get Aerosoft Australia MCP to run on Win10

Hi,
after updating my system to Win10 I can´t get the MCP running. No USB ports available anymore. Since I am not a computer specialist, I have no idea what to do..

Is there anybody outr there ?

When did you perform the update?

The windows update to 1809 that came out a couple of weeks ago was faulty. The .iso file for performing updates was also faulty. If you used 1809 get hold of the latest build released today and try that instead.

It sounds as though perhaps you're not using 64 bit USB drivers, or your 'USB emulation of a serial port' software isn't coping well with Windows 10.

If you download my collection of Aerosoft Australia software and manuals you should find something in there that will get you up and running. Pay special attention to the directories "USB 64-bit drivers" and "Prolific drivers v1.9.0" — and, of course the various manuals that you will find (in pdf format). You will also find text files called "Installing 64-bit USB driver for MCP" and "Installation log"  that might be helpful.

I am not currently using my MCP 747, so can't check my configuration — however, hopefully you will find something in the package that will help. Certainly, the Aerosoft MCP works as faithfully as ever under Windows 10 once you get the right combination of software.
