Please can anyone provide some guidance on how to configure the yoke?

Thanks

Hi Hardy,

I'd like to add this ... https://www.realflightshop.com/en-us/component/hikashop/product/761-boeing-747-throttle-set-for-saitek-throttle-quadrant.html
But I was advised I have to add this ... https://www.realflightshop.com/en-us/hardware/throttle/product/785-logitech-saitek-pro-flight-throttle-quadrant.html   ... to make it work.

Before I go out and buy them, could you, or anyone here, tell me if it's a good fit for Aerowinx and if anyone has had experience with these products? Thanks.

Mark.

Hi Mark,

The first item is only the 747 handles which are fitted to the second item (of which you need two!)..
This is stated in the description of the first item ((Saitek Throttle Quadrant and Quadrant Box are NOT included))

I have had some experience of this setup and, to be honest, was not overly impressed - not very accurate and tend to 'slip' out of position mainly due to weight of handles and lack of friction in the quadrant.

Brilliant ...  Thanks Simon.

I was unsure about how it would all fit together. Apparently not very well, it seems ... and buying two sets of throttles doesn't thrill me much.

So, what hardware is commonly, or most popularly, used for a 747 simulator?

Cheers.

I have been using the saitek throttles, (yoke and USB pair) but am building my own THQ from scratch. That way I can motorise it and use hall effect devices to allow better control.
