Full reverser creates some knocking noise

Hi,

I suddenly hear some abnormal(?) knocking noise in the cockpit (tok tok ... tok ... tok) when full reverser is used on ground (at low speed at least).
I am aware that full reverser should not be used below 60(?) kts.
But sometimes I quickly use(d) reverser to move backwards rather than using the towing simulation and I never heard this noise before.

Is this the update: 43.06. Reverser operation at low airspeed and high thrust now causes compressor stall (source: BA CF6 sim)?

Probably the same poff/pock sound as disussed in http://aerowinx.com/board/index.php?topic=3829.0 about "strange sounds"?
If it's really a compressor stall I fear I damage the engines in situations where I am too lazy to use the towing simulation.

Thanks, Holger

PS. Using PSX 10.47, preferred model is LH D-ABVZ

Hi, yes, item 43.06.

The effect can be seen on the EICAS.

You can still reverse to move backwards, just don't use max thrust.
