Offset between PSX & FSX Using Visual PSX

Hi Garry

I have a problem with offset


Your Status:
FSX Runway data file, version 61...
FSX runway data file has been loaded: 6721 airports, 16764 runways

but,  Dubai Runway 30L and approach offsets enabled
FSX runway is visually about half a mile ahead of PSX runway (FSX has all red on VASIs)

Any ideas where I am going wrong?
Is my runway database up to date?
(maybe just a Dubai problem?)

Garry seldom stops by nowadays....

Offsets are not needed with 3rd party add-on airports that are correctly located.  If you are using Fly Tampa's OMDB, just disable offsets, and see if that helps.

Thanks for the reply,

I tried removing offsets, but it made no difference.
Most other airports seem ok, so I'll just put up with it, cant justify buying Dubai 3rd party airport.

Still not sure if I have the most up to date runway file, status says 61 but I thought I had installed 6.7?
