I just stumbled across this "collectible" model 747-400, priced at $7,093.52 & FREE Shipping:

https://www.amazon.com/Phoenix-747-400-Pokemon-1999-JA8964/dp/B00F5UZES8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1497899323&sr=8-1&keywords=herpa+747+airplane+models

-------------

I have an ordinary Herpa 747-400 model, and enjoy the quality of Herpa's models.  I didn't know they could become collectibles.
Best wishes,

Is that for real? Sometimes people post outrageous items just because they can... I knew someone who wrote "e-books" about what he did in the course of a day, only something like 300 words, usually in 72 point font. He uploaded them to Amazon and priced them at about $200.

Unbelievably, he sold a few.

If you look at A-Shop Japan's store front through amazon they have others at more reasonable prices.... Maybe the cost of royalties to pokemon for the livery was the issue.... :)

I think one of our forum members may actually have the genuine Pokemon cockpit in storage somewhere...
