Hello guys.
Some of you may already saw the old photos that I post last year about my mostly homemade 744 cockpit. I now want to share my brade new design and rebuild cockpit.
Sines I still don't know how to send photos up here, I give my drop box link below:

Hope you enjoy with my sharing and please give me more advance about my cockpit. Or please feel free to ask me if any questions.

Best Regards
Jack.

That's very nice work, Jack. Is this the throttle quadrant you made with your 3D printer? It looks good!

To post a picture here, go to http://resizeimage.net/ and upload the picture, then resize (x=700 for a full screen across). Then, save the resized image to your desktop and upload it to Hoppie's site http://www.hoppie.nl/forum/.

Copy the link for that pic from Hoppie's site, then go to the tool bar in this forum and click on the "Insert Image" icon (second row, far left) wherever you want the image to appear. Paste the link between the "[img]" symbols and that should do it.

Hello Jon.
Thank you for your help. I will try on my next post. :)
The TQ is made by myself. But not all by 3D printing. Its main construction is made by metal, A3 steel, laser cutting then bending. The hadle is made by 3D printing.
Including the MIP construction also made by metal.
Overhead is sting under construction. I am waiting for the 3D printing fire extinguish handles. And also waiting for the Flight Deck Solution software upgrade so that I can interface the fire protection.

The Forum will dutifully display any photo as long as you can craft a URL (http://bla.somewhere.com/myphoto.jpg) that by itself displays just and only the photo -- not a web page with stuff and your photo. Most free web sites don't allow that since no web page means no ads and this is how they earn their money.

But there must be some left. Is Flickr still capable of serving individual photos in multiple sizes?

Jack,

Congrats ! It looks fantastic.
Especially I like the metal chain to keep the plane in the air ...;).

How far is your cockpit floor from the floor of the room, seems quite a bit ?

Hi Jack
Good work !!
Especially I was impressed by your throttle knob and support system for overhead frame.
When I made TQ by myself over 10 years ago, the most difficult part was throttle knob.  It is good idea to use 3D printer.  Now it is good days for cockpit builders.
Your white knobs look like really real knobs.

Hi

What did you use for the illuminated engine cut-off switches?

Great work, Jack! I find all of the home cockpit suilders out there very inspiring.

Hello Hessel.
Sorry to reply your post so late. Do you mean the height from the ground to the base platform? It's 25cm. It is just match my control column base design.
