Hi all,

i upgraded my PC from Win 7 to 10. Now PSX will not load. Java version is 8-131.

Running java -Xmx500m -Djava.library.path=Interfaces -jar Aerowinx.jar gives

QuoteWARNING: Found unknown Windows version: Windows 10
Attempting to use default windows plug-in.
Loading: net.java.games.input.DirectAndRawInputEnvironmentPlugin

Trying to start PSX using AerowinxStart.jar. PSX version is 10.1.7

Hardy Heinlin

Try re-downloading Java for Windows 10.

GodAtum

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Java 8-131 and 8-40 (both 32 and 64 bit). Still the same issue.

Hardy Heinlin

Which program says "stuck at 79%"?

If it's PSX, then Java is running. Otherwise PSX wouldn't even start loading.

Do you really click "AerowinxStart.jar" or any other old link?

GodAtum

I double click AerowinxStart.jar, the PSX loading screen appears and gets stuck at 79% (waited around 30 mins).

What's indicated in Aerowinx/Logs/errors.txt?

GodAtum

Did you change anything in your Aerowinx files and folders? E.g. does the folder "Aerowinx/Routes" exist? Or is the folder emtpy?

The error occurs when PSX wants to make a list of the route files in the Routes folder. It's the list on the Dispatcher page.

Or are these files in an "Internet cloud" or are they protected by Windows 10 or something like that?

GodAtum

For some reason the Routes folder was protected by Windows  ???

Thank you very much hardy for your assistance!

Hardy Heinlin

If Windows does so naughty things to your files, you may want to check if it protects other Aerowinx files too. It shouldn't do this.
