Hi All,

Could someone who has either successfully installed the FSX 747 in P3D v3.3 or found another 747 that works please help me to do the same?  I cannot seem to get the default FSX 747 to appear in the P3D menu, nor find anything on the web to help solve this problem.

Thanks!

Scott,
Did you have the 747 working in P3D V2?
If so I simply copied the aircraft folder across to P3D V3 and found the plane under "Others".

No, I'm afraid I started with v3.2, and didn't have need for the fsx 747 at that time.  I'm currently using xview and x-plane 11 with success, but wanted to compare this to Visual PSX/P3D.

I tried copying the 747 folder from fsx simobjects to p3dv3 simobjects, but no joy.

Thanks,

Will zip up a copy of the aircraft I use and put on my dropbox when I get a chance. Will update here.

Scott,
This link is to a zip file. Extract the folder and put it in your P3D Simobjects/Aircraft directory.

Hi Alex, thanks for sharing. I won't be able to test this for a few days. Do the external lights work correctly with this model when using ExternalSim ?

thanks!

I am only using Visual PSX at present. The lights work with Visual PSX.

It worked! Thank you so much!

Now just have to see if I can get the Visual PSX connection going.
