Navigraph will provide a moving map

As has been mentioned on this forum before, Navigraph is updating to Jeppesen charts, and they say on their blog(*) that this will allow moving map functionality. You can apparently see an overlay of the aircraft on the charts. Here's their claim:

Quote3. Thirdly, since Jeppesen charts are generally geo referenced and true-to-scale, we will be able to place an ownship overlay ("moving maps") on top of the charts, aiding situational awareness during a flight.

Does anyone know how this would work? How would the Navigraph app get data from the simulator?

Update: It looks like PSX users are already providing Navigraph with information on how to link Navigraph's moving map feature to PSX. More here:

This is great news.....!

Perhaps PSX members interested can add their names to the request list...?

...UPDATE, a user asked on the Navigraph forums if PSX support was still coming. The answer, provided on April 27, 2018, was that PSX support is still on their to-do list.

So they haven't forgotten about PSX, but it's not something that seems to be getting their active attention.

Too bad, really, as this might be an elegant source of taxiways in the PSX world.

Hi Will

I've heard that Navigraph can't link to PSX because Navigraph can't be used for real aviation, while PSX can be used for professional usage.

But..I'm using Navigraph with PSX as followings.
Navigraph's moving map is installed on my P3D4, and the P3D4 is linked to my PSX as scenery generator.

So I can see my plane on Navigraph's chart even on taxiway.

You can see this on my video(from 0:27)
