Cargolux - Round the World trip LX-VCL

Hi all,

for those of you interested in special routes/flights...

I noticed that the Cargolux B748F LX-VCL recently did a nice "round the world trip" on Feb 17th - Feb 20th 2016.

The route was as follows:

ELLX - LEBL - OMDW - WSSS - YMAV - SELT - TJBQ - ELLX

as CLX852 (ELLX-YMAV), CLX853 (YMAV-SELT), CLX763 (SELT-ELLX)

I especially like the 15 hour, 7500nm YMAV - SELT leg as it is a route over the Southern Pacific from Australia to South America where rarely ever a plane flies.

Most flights are either YSSY-SCEL or NZAA-SAEZ on a routing much further S close to Antartica, or are LAN Chile flights which stop at Easter Island. So far I haven't seen a route from Australia to the Northern part of South America.

Nice one Markus!
In the old PS days I used to fly Ton van Bochove's Cargolux flightline plane's endlessly. Had a lot of interesting routes. I will definitely try this route.
