I always refer to psx as the only java program ever written that's not terrible.

It's a work of art!l and belongs on its own list, in 1st place.

*) Ah, intercultural problem:
pronounce both "u" as short [ u ] not as [ ʌ ]; it's not what you think but a regional (Rhineland) colloquial epithet for a cheap and bad (surrogate) coffee (or here)...

Haha Martin, I should add that some of the psx addons written in Java are also not terrible!

All our SimStack software interfaces are written in Java.  I'll leave Gary to comment on those...  8)

I think it is not Java as such that produces terrible things, but corporate direction of a herd of EPUs.

An Exchangeable Programming Unit is an unmotivated, underpaid, bored individual hired to place seven lines of code in a monster program that already has seven million lines of code.

You don't need Java to produce terrible things.
