Greetings,
Out of the blue and for no apparent reason my BU0836A joystick controller"packed a sad" and disappeared for
use in PSX. I eventually got the computer to recognize the controller and I was able to calibrate it through Windows 7 but it is not been recognized in PSX.
Any help would be appreciated.

The preference files did not show the BU0836A joystick at all so I could not assign the buttons and pots.
They were visible in W7

Is "Gameport to USB Controller" the product name of BU0836A? If so, it should appear on PSX's USB page at the lower end. Did you scroll the USB page down?

No the gameport controller is for tiller and brakes only.
The BU0836A shows up in the devices part of Win7 labelled as "BU0036A Interface" as does the CH Throttle quadrant and tiller.
It does not show up in USB preferences at all.

What's in Aerowinx/Logs/errors.txt?
Nothing recorded in the logs/errors txt. However I have found the Y axis is not responding in Win7 and I wonder if this is the reason for PSX not recognizing the input. I am intending to replace the pot on my joystick and see if this is the cause.

Problem has been solved by replacing the aileron pot and everything is now being recognised.
